The Free & Reduced Meals Application is for families that require assistance in purchasing school meals. Eligibility is based on the family's income. Families must fill out the Household Eligibility Form (link at bottom of page) and return to the Food Service Director to activate the benefit. Families may apply for this assistance at any time during the school year. A new application must be submitted each school year to receive this benefit.
If your family already receives SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Asssitance Program), TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) or income eligible Medicaid benefits, you will be directly certified by the state of Illinois for free meal benefits and do not need to fill out this application.
Completed applications may be returned to school with your student in an envelope labeled WL Food Service Director, emailed to the WL Food Service Director, faxed to 217-672-3261 or mailed to WL Food Service Director, 427 W. North St., Warrensburg, IL 62573.
